Who I am:
My name is Sarah and I'm 17 years old. I was born in California but we moved to Michigan when I was five. I've been homeschooled and a Christian my whole life. This is my senior year and my plans (at the moment!) are to go to GVSU (Grand Valley State University) next year and start my degree for Occupational Therapy. In the mean time I'm focusing on my friends, family, and my God.
I have been raised in a Christian family by two of the most amazing parents who have never given up on loving and training me no matter what. Every day I'm learning so much more about my God and how I am supposed to live with Him. I am a 5-point Reformed Calvinist...I believe in 1) Total Depravity (Original Sin), 2) Unconditional Election (God's Chosen Elect), 3) Limited Atonement (Particular Redemption), 4) Irresistible Grace (Effectual Calling), 5) Perseverance of the Saints...as well as predestination, infant baptism, and post-millennialism to name a few.
I was pretty big into musical theater for a few years and this is my first year in a while that I haven't been deeply involved in that. For about 10 years I have played viola with a homeschooled musical organization which is pretty famous (people all over the state and sometimes out of state have heard about us). I played piano for about 5 years but stopped lessons a couple years ago. I still continue to actively play viola and have played in numerous S&E events, honor recitals, weddings, and other recitals and concerts. I have performed with Lansing Symphony Orchestra before as well as performed at Bob Jones University in South Carolina.
